Last Saturday as GD at Sugar Creek

I am hoping you are getting to see this as I am auto posting this last Saturday's challenge that I am guest designing for Sugar Creek Hollow and I thank each of you that has left me such sweet comments on my cards for them. I have had a blast and want to thank Tracy for her trusting me with this honor and all of the DT that has been so supportive.

Now to my card, our challenge this week is to do wet or dry embossing and I did both on this. I used and older set of Stampin' Up's called Antique Collectibles and embossed them with Versamark and clear embossing powder down the side of my card. My dp on the front of the card by K&Co's Ancestry.com was dry embossed with the vintage wallpaper embossing folder. You can see the difference in the embossing when you look at the piece on the inside that is not embossed. I used SCH's images "vintage" which I repeated several times and then die cut with Labels 4 and "Believe".
Hope you can stop by and see the rest of the cards by the DT at Sugar Creek Hollow and play along if you have time.
Thanks for stopping by!

Patti this is gorgeous! The embossing over the printed paper is terrific and the embossing of the image like the key is a wonderful effect on this card. I love what you did with the SCH freebie digi in the background. Your bow is beautiful too!
Have a great week!

Patti dear you have been so wonderful as a team member. Your artistic talent and innate ability to put wonderful elements together have made each and every image from SCH come to life! It has been such a pleasure working with you and getting to see your unique and beautiful style. This week you have just flat outdone yourself. Your SCH image background paper is awesome and the focal image couldn't be displayed with better surroundings! Thank you for sharing with us this month! Outstanding talent!

What an elegant card and with the colours you have chosen, it could be used quite nicely for a guy or a gal. Love how you repeated the image to make the panel.
Hugs!

Patti, it was a pleasure having you join us for April. So sorry I was MIA. I have not had to move in a while. However, to MY advantage, you are staying on with us and I cannot wait to see what glorious things you come up with. Love all of the "vintage-ness" you have incorporated into your card. Well done!
