The Crop Stop Challenge

I am creating a new type of card for me and posting it at a new challenge site to me called The Crop Stop where this week's challenge is to make embossed embellishments. My card is a pattern that I found in the Summer 2011 edition of "Paper Creations" and I have been wanting to try this ever since I first saw it. This is the vintage basket and I loved making this and can't wait to try the other patterns. I used K&Co's dp 'black and ivory". My flower and leaves are both Sizzix dies and both embossed using Cuttlebug folders. The butterfly is cut and embossed with an Embosslit called Beautiful Wings from Stampin' Up. I sponged the flowers with Versafine black onyx ink and used a corduroy button from SU which I loved how it went so well with the American Crafts ribbon. My pattern called for you to use quarter inch squares for the basket handle, but love the way this velour ribbon looks.
