Doodle Pantry Sympathy Card

Good afternoon, I am sharing a card that I made for friends of ours that just lost his Mom to a severe stroke. Her health had been failing and she suffered the stroke after a bad case of pneumonia. She is with Christ and at peace, I hope this card will let them know that we care and are there for them.

I used the new set released this month from Doodle Pantry  "Sea Shells". The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and oms with sponging using distress inks.

I also want to show you another card using the set "Jug and Bucket" and "Scarlet Paintbrush" both of which are new releases this month.

I love when you plant with the bucket or pot overturned, so that is what I did with my card. I used the pine pattern to color my bucket in Gimp and then layered several of the scarlet paintbrush flowers until I got the look that I wanted. This is the colored version of the flower.

We are just days away from our new release at Doodle Pantry and a new challenge starting on July 1st. Be sure and watch for it!
I can't wait to show you what I have made using one of the new sets.

Thanks for the visit and have a blessed day.

Two beautiful cards Patti, I am sure your friend will appreciate the first one, the shells with the birds in the background have such a peaceful look. The bucket of flowers looks so good turned on its side. Enjoy your weekend.

Two lovely cards Patti, the first is very peaceful as it should be and the one with the bucket on it's side is fabulous with the scarlet paintbrush overflowing out of it. So creative! wow!

Two gorgeous cards Patti! Love the beachy feel of your first one - we leave early in the morning for sand and surf!! And how clever are you tipping the basket and filling it with flowers, gorgeous!

Wow! Both cards are gorgeous Patti. Love you design and coloring of the seashells on the first card. And the second card is so creative and fresh... I never would have thought to turn the bucket on its side. Awesome work!
