SSW with A Day For Daisies

Yeah, it is finally Wednesday and I can show you my card for this week's challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday where this week's sponsor is the fabulous A Day for Daisies and if you are our Grand Prize winner for the week, you will get a $12 gift certificate to spend in Tammy's fantastic store!!! I love shopping there. Be sure and leave a comment at the SSW blog on this week's post to be eligible , along with your post of your beautiful card.

I love this image and couldn't wait to use it....it is called  " Five Robins in Winter". My ivory card stock is textured and along with that I ran it through the Cuttlebug embossing folder "Snowflakes" which was distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks. My brown card stock was stamped with snowflakes from Stampin' Up's Winter Post set with versamark and embossed with SU glassy glaze enamel. I die cut two of the snowflakes using Spellbinders snowflake dies and then sponged distress inks on the ivory one. I used Stickles glitter glue along with Martha Stewart coarse and fine glitter to create the sparkle on my card. Here is another angle, hoping you can see the glistening.

I have plans to recreate this card to send out this Christmas to some of my loved ones. I hope you will stop by and check out Jacki's post for the team at Sweet Sketch and then get your thinking caps on for this week's beautiful sketch by Arlana....here it is!

So thankful for all of you that stop by for a look and thanks to you that take the time to leave me a comment, I love hearing from you. Wishing you all a happy day!!
