Make Your Own....

Design paper that is and Welcome to another Sensational Saturday. Our challenge to you this week
at Sugar Creek Hollow is to MAKE YOUR
OWN DESIGNER PAPER
. We want you to use your stamps or
digital stamps and create your own background paper. Then we want you
to turn that into a vintage, shabby chic or primitive card or other
paper crafted project. We are a vintage challenge blog so please
ensure that your images and embellishments are of a vintage style and
that you follow the challenge theme.

Inkadinkado came to the rescue this week when I used two of the new sets that I found on clearance for $2.00 a piece, score! My background is from one of these and the dress, sentiment and shoe from another. I used some inks by Martha Stewart to stamp and distress with as well as dye my white lace ribbon. I really like how this turned out. I think the Spellbinders die Fleur De Lis is going to be a new fave.

This week a random winner will receive a digi or our choice and a
winner's badge to display.  The Design Team will choose one
project as Card of the Week and that creator will also receive a badge
to display and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

Our designers have created some lovely inspiration and if you want to
check out the details, just click on their names and you will be taken
directly to their blogs.

Here's hoping you will take up the challenge and play along with us this week, I'll be looking for you!

Sorry to be late posting.....blogger did post my scheduled post!!

This is beautiful, love the softness of the inks and the image or should I say images. Then the addition of the hat pins and flower. I think next year my resolution will be vintage, just love your cards. Have a great day.
