Christmas in July with The Paper Players
You may be getting tired of seeing them, but I am loving getting a head start on my Christmas cards. This one is also fairly flat and will be easy to mail. I may try some more of these, since I now have my LO and it came together fairly quickly once I had decided how to do this.
The Paper Players challenge 54 is the theme "Christmas in July" this week, so I decided to pull out some of my older Stampin' Up sets and see what I could come up with....using "Window on the World" I stamped the window image twice, once on Kraft and then on ivory for the curtain. I cut with a craft knife the inside of the window, including the curtain, replacing the curtain with the one from the ivory image, which I mounted over a piece of white card stock stamped with the trees from "Lovely As a Tree". The wreath then was stamped and colored, with added gems from Basic Gray. I thought this lovely paper from K&Co reminded me of wallpaper. Hope you enjoy and will check out this fun challenge, get a start, we are only 5 months away from Christmas!!
Card Details:
Paper: Stampin' Up certainly celery, design paper "Yuletide" K&Co
Images: Window on the World, Lovely as a Tree, Heard from the Heart, Stampin' Up
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, SU real red
Other: Basic Gray gems, ribbon from Walmart

You are on a roll!!! This is stunning with the window and the wreath, great Christmas card. I am seeing more and more Christmas cards being done.
What a great picture scene and gorgeous card. I'm into doing Christmas now myself. Even started some on line shopping. Maybe cause it's so darn hot and humid...LOL Have a fab weekend dear friend. "Hugs" Carol
What a pretty Christmas scene! The paper does remind me of wallpaper, too! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!

You are so ahead of the game! I'm with Olga... never get tired of seeing your cards (0= Love this it's absolutely beautiful!
Patti, fabulous scene card. From the wallpaper, the rustic window frame, the lovely as a tree stamp (which looks perfectly in scale, too!) to the wreath.... all of these elements lead to a wonderful festive card. I swear, I can feel the warmth from the fire behind me as I look through the window :-)
so glad you joined the Paper Players this week
