Just for the fun of it!!

Just for the fun of it, or at least that is what these two cards turned out to be....I made these sometime during the first of the week and then promptly didn't get them posted soon enough for the challenges, life has just not cooperated this week for me. One of our outside cats, Satin, was missing Monday morning which is very unusual for her, and Rick found her under our deck in a large insulated box he made for our outside babies. She was unable to stand or walk and her eyes were jumping around, we took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with vestibular syndrome, which is very close to vertigo in a human. Sent home with meds and a caution to keep her up, due to her being unable to defend herself in this condition, we started in on our "cat house" which is really a child's play house that Rick bought a few years ago from a gentleman whose grand kids had out grown it and turned it into a house for our kitties, complete with screened windows, shelves to look outside, cat beds, and a front porch with flowers and a cat door to come and go....so we closed the cat door so she couldn't come and go and put a fan via extension cord (no there is no electricity at the cat house) to help keep her cooler in this heat.
She was so pitiful, not able to move about without falling and after a day and a half of being unable to keep food or water in her we took her back yesterday and they are force feeding her and giving her fluids. She seems to be holding her own today and the vet says that this can go away as quickly as it came, praying it will. So between worrying about her and the daily job of MIL care, I just simply forgot to put these on, so hoping you will like them and oh well, two more cards in my stash.

This first one is done with a freebie given by Bugaboo stamps at CDAC during the last challenge series.  I bought some new Christmas papers by Memory Box when we at the stamping expo a few weeks back and the new border punch is one that I found on clearance. Do you like the HO's, these are Christmas confetti that I bought last year at Walmart.

My other card was suppose to be for the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays where they were using rubons or stickers.

I found these circle cards and envelopes in the dollar bin at Michael's and these rubons I have had for a while. The sentiment is from K&Co and the flowers are Basic Gray. I decided to dress up the envelope as well. I bought some Spellbinders on Scrapace the other day and one of the sets was "bugs" , the dragonfly is cut and embossed using a piece of scrap dp that I am not sure of the designer with added Studio G gems.

Well, off to fix lunch, I am going and try and post another card later and hopefully this one will be on time. Take care and stay cool or warm, depending on where you are in our wonderful world.

These are lovely, Patti. I know that a sick pet can be so worrisome. Hope the kittie is up and around soon. Hang in there, and thanks for stopping by my blog!
