At Card Ideas for D2D this week it is anything but a card and something we would give as a Winter or Christmas gift. I decided to make a holiday journal and I know just the person to give this to. I used Faith's image "For the Birds" along with a journal from Michael's craft store. My dp's are from Basic Grey's Jovial pack and I colored him with a combination of Tim Holtz distress inks and Stampin' Up markers. I used Spellbinders Snowflake and Rectangle Scallop dies along with Clear Dollar Stamps dies. The chipboard Merry Christmas and white snowflake are from a pack by Making Memories.
For the inside, I used some of the plaid paper used on the front to create index tags. I left the sections blank as I thought the person receiving it could use each one for her own ideas.....gift lists, card lists, etc.
Stop by and play along if you have a desire to get ahead on gifts for this year. Wishing you a happy day!
