Last week I shared a Christmas card that I made at a new challenge
site for me, Festive Friday - this week their Challenge #24 is inspired by this beautiful photo:
The pine cone silver ornaments just jumped out at me, love the vintage silver color!
I also loved the rustic elements, twine, wood and the textures.
As soon, as I saw the new inspiration card (this week created by new
Vicki's Card:
I love Vicki's color palette, I am a neutral gal myself and loved these tones.
I used silver metallic paper from DCWV, design paper from Creative Imaginations "Bird Songs"
Papertrey Ink white card stock and Gina K Designs Gray.
Looks like I didn't want to leave anyone out, {grin}
For texture, there is burlap ribbon, embossing (with the script folder as an ode
to Vicki's text paper)
and my layered snowflake punch.
I love my ornament which is by Justrite, I stamped it using a silver ink dauber,
I have had those for some time and I am just getting around to using
them, can you relate?
Adding the clear gems gives it that touch of bling in Festive Friday's
inspiration photo, don't you love those snowflake ornaments?
So happy I could play with both challenges again this week,
won't you join me?
