Well, I am back again with my third entry for the 5th Birthday party challenges at Flourishes where it is a 'banner day'! We are to use a banner or pennant style embellishment!
I decided to create my Thanksgiving invites which combine invitations to Thanksgiving dinner at my home with a Thanksgiving greeting.
Thanksgiving is and has been celebrated for many years at our home for family and friends and is one of my very favorite holidays and traditions.
I used their "Autumn Flourish" set to create my banners and decorate the card.
Stamping with the leaf and acorn flourish on to very vanilla card stock which I then hand cut into pennants and layered onto black ones, also hand cut and threaded with black twine.
I then stamped my beautiful frilly leaf with the invitation from "You are Invited", I colored this with markers so that I could split the words.
I think these are the perfect quick but beautiful cards to send to my loved ones for
our celebration this year.

I love the earthy, fall feel of your card and how you have the design on the banner. Of course your inside is always as perfect as the outside. :)

Lovely idea for a Thanksgiving invite! I've always thought this set had the most unique images for fall.
