Happy Mother's Day!!

Hello.....hope all of you have had a fabulous Mother's Day!
It started out here in Virginia with sunshine and the clouds have now moved in with lots of rain predicted.

As many of you may remember my computer problems last month and this was around the time that I was to post this card at Sugar Creek Hollow for our challenge. Cec was able to post my card front as I had thankfully already uploaded it to our group, but I was unable to show it in all of it's angles....so since this was a Mother's Day card, what better time to do just that? First of all, I want to give credit for these beautiful images to their source Lilac & Lavender and you find the direct post by clicking on the link. Megan is such a generous person and always has something for me to fall in love with. She gives loads of freebies, I hope you will visit her and let her know how wonderful her site is.

She had listed this round rose image and also made a notebook page to go with it.
I knew just what I wanted to create as soon as I saw these beauties. Yellow roses have always been my very favorite and don't you love that bit of peach!

I printed the circle in two different sizes and sized the note page to fit my card size before printing. I only had to add my sentiment ---doesn't it look cute right on the lines of this page? I used my circle dies and then layered with the peony die by Spellbinders.

For my background on the front of the card....I randomly stamped a rose from Gina K Designs "A Year of Flowers" and added a sentiment to the front circle of roses.
So glad I could show this to you all.

One more thing, I was able to go to a local pottery/fabric shop a couple of Saturdays ago and found loads of lace, trim and ribbon for a steal. I took pictures before creating holders out of card stock to store it on. I couldn't resist sharing.

There is one string that is all pearls and it was the most expensive at 99 cents a yard, yes you heard right. Most were anywhere from 10 to 49 cents a yard! The ones on the rolls.....99 cents for 10 to 15 yards, yikes!
So yes, for those of you that wonder if I am still trying to reorganize my stamp room....I hope to be able to get back to it with more vigor as soon as my painting and remodeling is finished. We are doing well, our friend is going to hopefully finish his part with the carpentry (crown molding and last of the closet doors hung) tomorrow and then just last minute painting and carpet steam cleaning and then we can start to put the room together. I have also decided as it is the last room on the main level to not have crown molding.....my stamp room gets a treat as well.
Butch probably hopes I would quit looking around, lol.
I can't wait to be finished and show you what we have done.

Sorry to take so much time, but it has been fun sharing with you all this afternoon. Now off to start dinner in a bit.....enjoy the rest of your day.

Hugs......

This is a beautiful card Patti. I love yellow roses - especially those with just a touch of peach or pink. What a great deal on your ribbon and such a neat and tidy job of organizing them. I hate seeing my mess of a ribbon bin after seeing your pics!!! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
Hugs,
Sharon :)

Beautiful design Patti and what a STEAL on all of the lace/trim! Also love how you organized it and desperately need to do it myself. My ribbon looks like the first three pics...just all piled together :)

Patti,
This card is breathtaking! What a haul I should shop with you. I'm still waiting for my DH to finish my bathroom. I have all the painting and wall paper done he just needs to tile. But now we've starting working outside.
