Yeah, It's Release Day....

March 1st, can you believe how this year is zipping by, but the good thing is that today is release day for Doodle Pantry and I am using this beautiful set "Violin" that you can find here . Be sure to check out all of the new sets that Laurie is releasing this month which can found on this page.  I created this card as a thank you for Rick's cousins husband that sang so beautifully for the funeral. I used the cuttlebug music embossing folder, distressing it with Frayed Burlap distress ink. I placed the PNG file for the violin on a piece of design paper that I picked up ages ago from TLC where Paulette is always so generous. I had every intention of coloring this up, but when I put the card together, it seemed to work better with just a sponging of distress ink. I hope you like it this way.

We have a beautiful set English Bluebells which is free with purchase this month and a new Quirky Bunny that will be sent to each of you that participates in this month's challenge on the DP blog and will be available in the store after the 24th. So be sure to join in the challenge this month for your free set!
Don't forget that the team has lots of inspiration for you, so be sure and stop around for a visit.

Don't you think this is a perfect sentiment for him? Part of this set!!

Thanks for stopping in to visit with me! On a personal note, my week is not slowing down. We are still trying to get things settled after Rick's Mom's death and sadly we attended the funeral today of one of my dearest friends. Her husband is a truck driver and arrived home in the early morning hours Sunday to find her dead. She has struggled with MS for around 14 years and the Lord has finally called her home. I have never know a more faithful, loving Christian in my life and she will be missed by many. May God Bless her family.
I have always been one to take Poison Ivy easily but haven't had a case in several years, I thought that maybe I was not as sensitive as I had been in years past, but alas it is not so. I was standing by some bushes at the cemetery after Polly's graveside service speaking with some friends and messing with the boxwoods....you got it, which were entwined with poison ivy! I have a huge spread all around my neck, hands and face. We are first thought that maybe I had just touched something that I was allergic to but after Rick and a friend went back to the cemetery, we now know....I am going to get a cortisone shot tomorrow. Oh my, as I said to Rick...you can't fix stupid.
Happy Day my friends.
