Paper Cupcakes and Sugar Creek Hollow!

Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow. The colors of fall are in full splendor right now but with the cold weather knocking at our door, they won't last too much longer so our challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow this week is to preserve them by making a vintage, shabby chic or primitive card with the COLORS OF FALL.

This week we have a lovely new sponsor, Paper Cupcakes, who will provide our random winner with 3 digis of her choice from the Paper Cupcakes store. The random winner will also receive a Sugar Creek Hollow badge to display on her blog.

For many of you that know me or have been a reader of my blog for a while, you may remember that I got my first chance to be a design team member at Paper Cupcakes blog, There's Magic in the Air . I will always appreciate Nina May and the chance that she gave me, even though I had not been blogging very long at the time. That is why I am so excited to have her sponsor us this week and to showcase her wonderful images. Be sure and stop by the store and check out her fabulous work.
For my card, I am using her image "Orchid Teacup with Bird". Not sure if there are orchids this color or not, but oh well, that is what creative license is for, right? I hope you will take the time to join us this week, so that we can see your beautiful creations when we visit.

The Design Team will choose a Card of the Week and that creator will receive a badge to display and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

Our designers have created inspiration for you this week using Paper Cupcakes images so be sure to check out their blogs to get all the details.

Thanks for stopping in, hope your weekend is wonderful!

Patti,
This is sooo very pretty! I love that little bird. Your coloring is beautiful. By the way I was wonderfully surprised this week one day after 10 hours of work to get to my mail box "wink" that was soooo thoughtful of you and I can't stop smiling. I'm having some trouble getting to the post office here. Our town was pretty much built on the GM plant here. Every company from restaurants and gas stations were built because they need them to service the GM people and the companies that supported them, trucking , manufacturing parts, cleaning supplies, fabric people are all gone since they closed the plant over a year ago. Now our post office has been effected. They have reduced hours and days of operation and are now operating with only one person at the window instead of 4. Talk about a mess :)
