Yeah, Stamp Fairy at SSW

Happy Wednesday, have you all had a wonderful week so far? I am starting to paint now in my guest room/bathroom redo and it has been a busy two weeks. We have a friend doing the carpentry work on our redone closets and all of the new crown molding, etc. and after removing the wallpaper, we had another friend do our sheet rock work. That part is now finished and I am able to start painting. I cannot wait to be finished and straighten the rest of my house that now holds everything we have moved out of these two rooms, lol.

Sorry to be so long winded as I am sure you are here to see what we are up to this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday . We have a fun sketch, but then they all are don't you think?

And we are so happy to have Stamp Fairy as our sponsor for this week. The Grand Prize winner of this week's challenge will get a $10 gift certificate. Be sure and leave a comment at SSW to be eligible.

I used the image Linda Spring 1 for my card and also picked up a couple of freebies that they have available (the flower and spring sentiment). Using Prismacolor pencils and oms to color her and Making Memories papers from Boho Chic and buttons, I love this color palette. So much fun! Thanks for the wonderful images....we really appreciate their sponsorship.

Congrats to all of last week's winners and players, we are so inspired by the work that you do for our sketch challenge each week. If you have never tried playing along, please do....we would love to have you.

Well off to paint some more, thanks for stopping by!

Molly in March!

Happy Wednesday, How are things going for all of you? A good start to the week, I hope....my poison ivy is still itching some and the patches are still visible but not festered as they were last week.  I have learned my lesson, no more messing with anything that I am not sure what it is from now on. Murphy's Law is still at work at my house, Rick came down with the crud on Friday and hasn't hardly been able to raise his head since, he is some better today but still extremely weak and now I have a sore throat and cough....what is happening around here, lol.

Enough of my problems......because there are definitely no problems going on at Sweet Sketch Wednesday where we are being sponsored by the fabulous Stamp Fairy who is giving this week's Grand Prize winner a gift certificate to her store.

We will also choose 3 top picks who will each receive a banner to place on their blog. Hope it is you....

For my card this week, I am using Gerda's image "March-Molly Throughout the Year". I loved working with her this week and Arlana's beautiful sketch which is this month's oldie but goodie repeat.

Here is another angle of my card so that you can see the layers a little better.

I used my fave Stampin' Up certainly celery card stock along with one of my very favorite design papers "butterfly garden" by Pink Paislee, this is one of the butterflies that is also from that collection.

Be sure and stop by SSW and give the other gals a visit this week and see the details on their beautiful cards. As always, thanks for taking the time to stop in and see what I am up to. I promise that soon I am going to stop telling you my problems if you will just bear with me....or at least I am praying so.

Happy Day my friends.

I am entering this into the Spring challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge #20

It's Time for Stamp Fairy at SSW

Good Morning my Friends!!
It's a lovely Wednesday morning here in Virginia and I have this card to share with you for Sweet Sketch Wednesday where each week you will find a fun and lovely sketch by Arlana for you to create with and share with all of us at SSW. We love to see your work and visit at your blogs, and this week we are sponsored by Gerda , owner of the Stamp Fairy and they are giving away 4 of their beautiful digital stamps as a prize this week.

And here is the fun sketch for this week:

For my card this week, I am using the image  "Donna Sunbonnets 2", isn't she just the sweetest and because she is so sweet, I had to use these soft pinks and yellows with her. I added some sparkle on her bonnet with Studio G glitter glue in pink and yellow, along with using it on my flowers. I hope you like it and will stop by and give our sketch a whirl this week, we would love to have you play along with us. And to my special followers that have played at SSW with me already, thank you so much. I hope some more of you will find some extra crafting time to try out this great site.

Have a great day!!
