Paper Cupcakes
Can you believe we are less than two weeks away from Christmas, I can't! I am afraid I am feeling the painic...not ready and too much left to do! I am trying, but am afraid that I am still under the weather. I am still having a lot of joint pain and headaches all last week and this week-end. I did manage to get this card done for the last challenge at Paper Cupcakes before Nina takes a three week break for Christmas. This is a new image that is a freebie at the site for this week's challenge called "A Merry Christmas Snowman" that Nina designed for us. Isn't he just the most adorable thing? I hope you will find time to play along this week. We will be back in January for our next challenge with new images, challenges and fun. I apologize for being MIA so much the last few weeks and hope to be back to playing and creating soon. Merry Christmas....stop by and see what the rest of the design team has for you!

Ornaments for Paper Cupcakes
Can you believe it is Monday again and December the 6th? Where does the time go?
I know I said last week that I was going to get back in the swing of things but unfortunately, my RA decided to flare and I have had my right arm isolated in a sling and was unable to use it for much of the last week. Finally on Friday I got my ornament done for this week's challenge at Paper Cupcakes which is hosted by our sweet Carol. She has asked us to create an ornament, simple, fancy or anything in between. I made mine using the digital image " A Taste of Winter"...not especially happy with the way it turned out but the best I could do at this point. I used SU Riding Hood Red card stock and SU dp Merry Moments cut with the scalloped rectangle Spellbinder dies. The image was cut with the next smaller size and mounted with pop dots inside the opening on the ornament. I colored this with my SU markers and highlighted with Ranger stickles. I hope you can join us this week and make your own ornament either for your tree or a gift. If you haven't already, please stop by and see what the rest of the team has created. Take care and have a wonderful week.

Hosting Paper Cupcakes Challenge
Happy Monday to all and Happy Holiday Season as we start the countdown to Christmas!
I am so glad you stopped by this morning to visit, it is my pleasure to host this week's challenge for Paper Cupcakes . I decided to have you use any image that you would like and "Anything Goes"...I would like to see your creativity showcased in this week's projects. With that in mind I still did a card but decided to try a "double fold card" which I can't remember where I got the instructions for and I forgot to write it in my notes on this project. I will try and find the info if anyone wants to have it so that I can give credit where it is due. This card when folded has two pockets on the front...one of which I filled with a tag and the other I cut a long scalloped rectangle using Spellbinder dies which I stamped with snowflakes and a sentiment from a set by Gina K Designs, illustrated by Theresa Momber. The front image is by our own Nina May here at Paper Cupcakes and called appropriately "Christmas Bulbs". I knew that I had to have it as soon as I saw it in the store.
Here is a picture with these elements removed. My ribbon is all from Walmart.
I used Stampin' Up Riding Hood Red and Merry Moments dp. I used more of the dp and ivory card stock stamped with the snowflakes to decorate the inside.
I am really happy with the way this turned out and hope you like it too! Please go by and see the other design team member's projects for today and please play along with us this week. I am sorry I have been so quiet this last week or so, hope to get back in the swing this week. Take care and have a wonderful start to your week.

It's Cupcake Time
Good Monday Morning to All!
And I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving! I know this will be a busy week for everyone, but hope you can play along in the color challenge at Paper Cupcakes . Our lovely Nilla is hosting this week and she wants us to use the colors red and cream.
I used card stock from Stampin' Up in Riding Hood Red and Ivory and the dp is Merry Moments, also by SU. My image is called "Christmas Spray Cupcake" and available in the store for purchase. I used Martha Stewart glue and glitter to bling up my image. I love how this looks, although as with all glittery cards I think it looks better in real life than in the photo. I added red Ranger stickles and rhinestones by Queen&Co. I may turn into a bling girl after all! I used SU markers to color.
The card is what I would consider CAS, but I wanted the image to shine. Hope you will leave me a comment.
Well, I am off to get my hair cut and pick up last minute groceries so that I can clean and cook on Tuesday and Wednesday as I am hosting Thanksgiving for my family on Thursday. Will try and check in with everyone; where ever you may be this Thanksgiving Day I wish only the best for each and every one of you. Take care!

Designed 2 Delight with an angel
Designed 2 Delight is a progressive challenge and for this week's challenge we are using our free image entitled "Kaela" dressed as an angel which I received free for participating last week. I am combining this with a couple of other challenges. One of those at Joan's Gardens has the recipe, a window card, something gold, an ornament and something fuzzy. I cut out a window in the card base and my dp with a Labels 4 die by Spellbinders and then also cut my image with the same die. I colored her with Stampin' Up colors and then for my fuzzy I used some Martha Stewart coarse snow and mica flakes on her wings and cuffs. The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps using the set Designer Label Christmas Tags and one of a set of three dies they are now selling. This was a little difficult to photograph but I hope that you can see it well enough.
I am also entering this in the challenge at Stamp Something where the challenge is to use something digi.
Thanks for checking me out and for being there to encourage me! I really appreciate each and everyone of you!

Paper Cupcakes--Who's Candy?
Happy Monday morning!! Can you believe half of November has already went by?
I have an adorable image that you can pick up this week at TMITA to play in our challenge for Paper Cupcakes. It is designed by our talented Nina and called "Who's Candy?". Pat is hosting this week and her challenge is to use glitter and ribbon, I know there are lots of you out there that love glitter and hope you will pick up the freebie and play along with us.
My card base is GinaK Designs lipstick red with dp by Basic Gray "Jovial". I used the Spellbinder peony die to cut out my image which I colored using Prismacolor pencils and oms. The glitter is Rangers stickles. The glittered red snowflake is one of my new Walmart stash. I decided to cut 3 pieces of ribbon from American Crafts and layer behind the image for a different look.
OK, it's your turn to show us your creations, so go on over to There's Magic in the Air and check out the rest of the team and pick up your image. Thanks for stopping by and leave me a comment if you have some time.

Thankful Snowman
I am posting this thankful snowman close to the end of the challenge at Crafting with Deedee's Digis but it is a try before you buy freebie on her site and since I downloaded it I wanted to play in her challenge. She asked us to create a thank you or thankful card and since I always need thank yous for after Christmas I thought this little snowman did the trick. My card base is Stampin' Up card stock layered with DCWV metallic card stock and some dp that I got in a card kit several years ago at Walmart. I used a Martha Stewart border punch along both. The image is colored using my Stampin' Up markers and glittered with Rangers stickles. Don't you just love the snowflakes, these are more of the ones that I picked up at Walmart in the Christmas decorations. There are 140 of these in blue and white in one bag for $1.50, isn't that a bargain.
Hope you like this and be sure and stop back in the morning for my Paper Cupcakes card.

Play Time at my House!!
It has been a day of laundry, cooking, caring for MIL and playing in my stamp room. I received some new digital stamps from Nina, our design team leader, designer and owner of Paper Cupcakes this week and decided to play around with some of them. She will be putting two new sets of tickets in the store possibly as soon as next week, keep an eye out as you will definitely want these. I printed the Christmas Tickets off on Gina K Designs white card stock. There is a whole letter size sheet of these and each one different. I am so loving these and the wonderful images and sentiments on them. My first project is for your wine glasses or if you don't drink wine you can use them on water or tea goblets. I trimmed and then used my punch to trim my ticket corners and then colored and mounted on Stampin' Up riding hood red card stock. I punched a hole in the ticket and using book rings (as this is all I had at home) I put it around a wine glass. I think you can get the thinner wires in the beading section at your craft store or Walmart. I love these and think they would make cute stocking stuffers. So quick to make.
My next project is a card that I created for Gina's color challenge at StampTV...to use Turquoise Sea, Red Hot and white. I used a base of the turquoise which I embossed with Cuttlebug's snowflake folder. The image and inside sentiment is from GinaK Designs set illustrated by Theresa Momber "A Very Merry Christmas". I also added two of the tickets which I did not cut apart, the first reminds me of a Currier and Ives scene which I have always loved.
I used Versamark to stamp the jingle bells and then embossed with silver embossing powder and then colored the ribbon with SU Blue Bayou.
And my last project is a piece of home decor which I don't think that I have ever done. I found a frame at my local Dollar Tree and decided to try something that came to mind. I used SU dp Jolly Holiday stamping the snowflake and deer from SU's set Winter Post. The door image is from SU's set Home for Christmas which I colored with SU markers and then added Martha Stewart glitter. After allowing this to dry I layered it on a piece of SU riding hood red. That is another one of Nina's tickets in the middle. I then put it behind the glass in the frame, this is a floating frame inside of a black frame. The glittered snowflakes are another one of the packs that I was telling you that I found in the Christmas decor department at Walmart. It is suppose to be for scattering around your table. I like the way it turned out and can think of all kinds of different stamps and papers to use.
Sorry to make this such a long post but was excited to show you these things. I also worked on a project for the challenge I am hosting for Paper Cupcakes on Monday 11/29/10...can't wait to show you and I hope you can join us to play along.
Well, that is it for tonight....hope your week-end is happy and you are having some fun. Take care and see ya soon!

It's Black and White
Karen's Doodles Challenge this week is to make our card black and white, you can color the image but I decided to keep mine subtle by using only soft blues colored with Prismacolor pencils and oms. This image is one of Karen's titled "First Snowfall". I embossed the background with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder....don't you love the glittered "Snow", I found these in the Christmas decorations at my local Wal-Mart, they are made to be scatterables but I love them on my cards. I have some others and will be using them on some other projects. I used glitter and Ranger stickles to add some shine. The challenge is open through midnight tomorrow night, Sunday November 14, so stop by and play along.
Happy Saturday, now off to do some chores.

Harvest Time
Designed to Delight has a progressive challenge each month with a freebie posted on the first of each month. If you participate each week, Faith will mail you a free digi for playing along, isn't that grand. The free digital this time is "Harvest Basket" and I combined it with another of her images that I didn't get to play with called "Scarecrow Teddy with Hat". I colored all the images with my Prismacolor Pencils and oms after which I layered several colors of my card stock and mounted on my card base of Stampin' Up river rock. I took a 1 3/4 inch punch and punched my upper corner and then stamped a sentiment from Gina K Designs set "Autumn Beauty" and mounted to the to layers. I used pop dots to elevate the image. The pieces look off in my picture but irl they are more lined up. I ran the layers through my Big Shot in the Swiss Dots folder backwards which changed the look of my background. Love these images from Faith and hope you will take the time to stop by her blog....you have until midnight on the
11th to play and pick up the freebie and then you will have another freebie each week you play, what are you waiting for? See you there.

Merry and Bright
Debbie has challenged us this week at Paper Cupcakes to create a Christmas Card using colors other than the traditional ones. I chose to use card stock that I picked up in a paper pack several years ago to create my card along with Nina's image "Merry and Bright" which is a fav of mine. I love moose and he is adorable. I colored this using Prismacolors pencils and oms.
The lime green satin ribbon is from the Dollar Tree and I also used a Making Memories pebble. I hope that you can join in our challenge and play along this week, we always have a great time seeing your creations and visiting your blogs. So hop on over and see what the rest of the team has created and get your thinking caps on.
I was at Wal-Mart lately and browsing the Christmas decorations and there is some lovely inspiration there. They are offering ornaments and accessories in brown, teal, peridot green and purples to name just a few of the non traditional colors.
Happy Monday and here's hoping that you have a wonderful start to your week. Hugs and laughs to all!

I Am Still Alive!
Happy Friday Everyone!!
I guess everyone has given up on me by now, but I am still kicking just not very high. Rick and I went out of town for a few days the end of last week and I was covered up getting ready for the trip ( not only do I have to get our things together but I have to leave things for Polly and her caregiver while we are away) and then when I got back it is get everything back in place....you all are the same I know, but then I developed a migraine and that stopped everything. I feel a little better today but my head is sore and not quite back to my old self just yet.
Enough of the excuses, I wanted to share a couple of pictures that I took while we were in South Carolina. We go with a group of our shooting friends each spring and fall to a club where we rent a house on the property and shoot sporting clays and other games for 4 days. I look forward to these trips so much, we don't have to travel any further than the golf cart outside of our door to get on the range and we cook together and eat in and the food is always delicious. I took these photos on the course thinking you might get an idea of the area.
There are two ponds on this property and lots of open fields and stands of pines. I love the feel of the place and the people that work at the club are so nice and have become good friends as we have been going for about 15 years. I am working on some cards and hope to have something to post soon. Hope everyone has a wonderful week-end planned. Take care and see ya soon!

So Thankful!
I am so thankful for each and every person that stops by and looks at my blog. You are all so special to me and your sweet comments mean so much. Our challenge for Paper Cupcakes this week was made by Jessie and she asked us to create either a thank you card or one for Thanksgiving. I decided to use the PCC image Flower Tea Cup and a digi verse from Doodle Pantry. My card base is Stampin' Up's Baja Breeze which is embossed with SU's Elegant Lines folder. The image is colored with SU inks and glittered with Ranger stickles. I adore this image and you can find the challenge and the link to PCC images Here . If you play along with us week there is a wonderful set of clear stamps as a prize and if you don't have any PCC images yet there is a freebie there also to get you started.
Remember to count your blessings and think about what you are thankful for this week! Rick and I have been away for a few days and I have some pictures for you...look for my post later on!

Die Cuts!
Die Cuts are the thing this Monday for our challenge for Paper Cupcakes . Gloria has asked us for our challenge this week to use die cuts on our project. I used the image from Paper Cupcakes called "Harvest Geese", which I am in love with. I printed this out on watercolor paper, die cut it with Spellbinders Labels 4 and colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. My card base is Stampin' Up chocolate chip and my dp paper is by Basic Grey. So please, I invite you to hop on over to our challenge and let's see what you create. You don't have to use an image from Paper Cupcakes, but if you do you will be entered into the drawing for the prize of two images from PCC twice. What a great start to the week...hope you feel the same.

This is a card that I created earlier this week for the challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ where we were to put either a verse, prayer or something on our card to let the recipient know we were praying for them, but I forgot to post it. I used Stampin' Up white card stock for the base and then layered dp and solids from a pack by Pressed Petals. My sentiment and images are from the set "Hugs and Prayers" by Gina K Designs. My ink is Tim Holtz distress Peeled Paint and Memento Summer Sky. I hope you are all having a wonderful week-end. The skies are what Rick calls blue bird clear and the temps are so pleasant. Well, back to cleaning house and laundry. Take care, my friends.

Distressed....at Karen's Doodles
Isn't this an adorable image? "Pumpkin Mailbox" and it is available at Karen's Doodles . I made this for their challenge to distress it, my coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. Karen's has some adorable images for sale and also some freebies if you would like to try them out first. Her challenges are always lots of fun and I hope that you can stop by this week. Hope you have time for a comment.

Breast Cancer Awareness
I am submitting this card for the challenge at Delightful Inspiration this week where Faith sent this image as our freebie for participating in the challenge last week. This is a combined collage from her two newly released sets. I printed the image in my Word program and enhanced it with the picture effect which gave it a reflective quality at the bottom. I only used Memento Angel Pink and Rose Bud to color the image and then sponged the edges with Versamagic Sahara Sand. I really like how this turned out and appreciate Faith spotlighting Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October. If you are not playing along in her progressive challenges you can buy this image " Beautiful Blessing" in her store or I believe she starts it out with a freebie the first of each month. Stop by and check out her lovely work, and thank you for stopping by to see me. I have a couple of other posts coming...keep an eye out.

Tag Time!
This week's challenge for Paper Cupcakes is hosted by our wonderful Dru and she asked us to make a tag using any image from PCC. I made a tag using the image by Nina called "Autumn Splendor" and then attached it to my card front. I dug out my crimper that I haven't used in ages to make a background for the tag. I hope you can stop and play along with our challenge this week, Nina is giving away this set of stamps to one lucky entry.
I distressed the edges of the tag that I cut out using a Coluzzle and sponged the edges with Versafine Vintage Sepia. I colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. Thanks for taking the time to check in today and here's hoping you have a wonderful start to the week and find time to play along with us at Paper Cupcakes.

Sketch card for StampTV
Another Christmas card, I need to count and see where I am in my total for this year..could I be close? This one is in response to the sketch challenge issued by Vicki at StampTV . It is a fun one this week and I really enjoyed creating this card. I don't usually make odd sized cards but part of her request was to make a square card anywhere from 4 1/4 to 5 1/2. Mine is 5 x 5. I used all GKD card stock in black, ivory and lipstick red. The stamps are from Gina's set Blessed is the Season, I stamped the dove with Versamark and then stamped the sentiment over top with Versafine Onyx Black. I love how my Michael's glittered snowflake (found these in the $1 bin) coordinates with my snowflake embossed ivory paper. My inside uses another sentiment from this same set.
How are you doing with your Christmas cards? Can't believe it is already the middle of October. Hope everyone has a wonderful week-end.

Happy Thanksgiving for Sugar Creek Hollow
Not long back I came across a new blog site for me called Sugar Creek Hollow , I loved the name and the logo, funny what will catch your attention sometimes. They have some fabulous freebies at their store so I decided to try this weeks challenge which is a sketch challenge...
I flipped the sketch vertically and took one of the free images, vintage and copied it several times to make my background paper. Then I printed the Thanksgiving Tag,another freebie, both of these I colored with the sepia tool in my Photo shop program. I distressed with VersaMagic Sahara Sand and added some cream lace that I picked up at Wal-Mart. The lovely flowers are some that I won in a blog candy give away a couple of weeks ago, aren't they pretty? You cannot see it in the photo but I also embossed the layer of cream card stock behind the oval nestie and sponged it as well. Check out this blog if you have time, beautiful images. Thanks for stopping!

Delightful Inspirations Challenge
This is my second post for tonight and I am again using an image from Faith and Designed 2 Delight. She has a challenge with a free image going on at Delightful Inspirations . I made my first ever Z fold card, using Faith's image Whimsy Flowers. I put 3 of these together and cut out with a Labels 4 die. I used my SU embossing folder "Elegant Lines" on the larger piece. My card still measures as an A2 card. I sponged with Memento Summer Sky and SU Old Olive.
I am also going to enter this card for the recipe challenge at Joan's Gardens . She is asking us to use a vertical strip, die cut flower, alteration to card stock and swirl. My embossing is my alteration and my swirl. Hope you like it and are having a creative week. Take care and talk with you soon.

Fall Leaves
Isn't this a gorgeous digital stamp! It is a Freebie right now at Papercraft Planet through Delightful Inspiration and Faith's company Designed 2 Delight. It is for a limited time only so hurry on over. I created the card today for a challenge at Digital Tuesday Challenge and they are sponsered this week by Designed 2 Delight . This image " Fall Leaves" I printed out twice so that I could layer it. I did a partial cut with Spellbinders round nestie. I started with a black layer and then used Really Rust. I bought a punch by Martha Stewart the other day with leaves and this is perfect with the image. I sponged with several shades of Memento Ink to color my leaves. I put another piece of the rust card stock inside and stamped a leaf and sentiment from Stampin' Up's set Country Blessings. We were to sew, either real or faux and since I do not sew, mine is faux. I have another card to post later if you want to check back in...
I am also entering this in the challenge at Stamp Something where they want you to show something with dies or punches.

3 of a Kind
I decided to make an easel card using an older set of stamps from Stampin' Up that I found in my stamp cabinet that haven't been used very often called "Happiest of Holidays". I made it a monochromatic look as well by using SU Always Artichoke and Mellow Moss card stock as well as dp from the pack of SU Always Artichoke Prints. I stamped the blocks with Versamark and embossed with SU clear embossing powder and then sponged with AA ink. I stamped the top part of the sentiment from the same set on the front with Versafine Onyx Black and then stamped the other two lines on mellow moss which I punched out with the large oval punch by SU. I left a space above the punched sentiment inside to write a personal note. This came together fairly quickly and I like the way all the layers look together. The pearls along the side are from Queen & Co and meet the criteria for two challenges that I am entering this card in. Both are new sites that I found through the Daily Dare and both are new to me...They both want us to use 3 of something on our creation...why don't you check these out with me and play along.
Tuesday Throwdown and
Papertake Weekly .
Here is a picture of the card open.
For those of you that might be wondering about my appointment at the rheumatologist yesterday...he is going to try and get me approved for the next step up in drugs for the rheumatoid arthritis since the ones I am taking now are not working as well as he would like. I could have increased the chemo drug that I am now taking another notch but one of the additional drugs that goes along with it would have to be upped as well and it is starting to bother my stomach. The new one is an injectable that I will take anywhere from once a month to 4 times a month, depending on which one the insurance company will allow. I must say that I am not looking forward to this as it seems each time I go that my treatment just gets more involved.I now take approximately 20+ pills a day not counting the chemo med and anitnausa meds that I take once a week, but if this new drug were to work, he says I could start to back off of some of the ones that I am on. I keep flaring with the RA which I was doing yesterday ( could not raise or use my right arm very well) and he wants to try this before I have severe bone damage which I do not have at the moment. Sorry to make this so long, hope you have stayed with me long enough for me to thank you for stopping by and hope your day is going fabulously.

Deco Flowers for a Magical Monday!
Good Monday morning to everyone!!
I am so excited to show you my card for the challenge this week at TMITA . Our lovely Carol has asked us all to take the image by Nina "Deco Flower 2" and frame it. I love this dp from Stampin' Up called Elegant Soiree. It reminded me of old wallpaper so I decided to "frame" my picture and hang it on my card wall. I used pop dots to adhere the image to the card front...I pierced the scallops on the long rectangles and mounted it over chocolate satin ribbon, just like they used to hang pictures years ago. I hope you love this image as much as I do, I can see myself using it a lot. My image was colored with SU watercolor pencils.
I hope that you can play along with us this week. We had some beautiful entries for last weeks challenge and I hope to see you all play along this week.
I am at the rheumatologist today and it is almost a 2 hour drive each way, but I will visit all of you later. Can't wait to see what the design team has to share this week.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment if you have time.
cs--SU baja breeze, dp SU Elegant Soiree, watercolor paper 140lb

Thank you !!!
This is my card for the challenge that my blog pal Patti J. is hosting at Stampin' Sisters in Christ this week. Doodle Pantry is sponsoring their challenge and I had printed and colored this image of Laurie's cornflower a while back so I just chose some dp by Pressed Petals and used the sentiment from Stampin' Up's set Simply Said. I colored this with my SU markers. I don't think you can see it in my picture but I highlighted the flower with Studio G glitter glue. This is the inside of my card...I used the same dp, but used a fiskers punch to make the border in the green dp.
Don't know if you noticed but this is the same image that I chose to create my watermark at Doodle Pantry. Love the way this turned out.
I am also changing my header again....taking the picture of my mums off and putting up a picture that I took today of the maple tree above our deck...love that blue sky peeking through. Hope you are all having a wonderful Fall week-end.

Clearly Delightful
That describes my challenge site and the day here in southwest Virginia. It is a lovely Fall day and I am so enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. I am showing a card that I made for Laurie's blog challenge #10 this month. I love her site and the wonderful images that she sells at Doodle Pantry. She also has freebies to use if you do not already own any of them. This month we are to use an image from the Doodle Pantry and ribbon...how easy is that!
My card base is Stampin' Up pretty in pink and I layered with dp from the Sasha Collection and a piece of berry card stock from my scrap stash. This is two images from Laurie, the Stone Wall Garden and Psalm 91:2 from Lord's Stronghold. I colored this with my Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I hope that you can join us in playing along this month, the challenge is open until the 19th of October and you get a free image just for linking a card. So what do you have to lose? Free image to use, free image for playing and the chance for blog candy....plus you get to make a card. What are you waiting for? See you at Clearly Delightful.

Gift bag for Karen's Doodles
I don't know if anyone noticed but my name was drawn to win 2 digis from Karen's Doodles last challenge...I was so happy, as I am enjoying creating with her images. I am entering her challenge again this week, it is to make your card or project Fall or Halloween. I decided to use her freebie again on this one and maybe use my free digis next week, so you will just have to wait to see what I picked. I love this free image, it is so gorgeous and a lot of fun to color. I printed it out and die cut it in my Big Shot using the large scalloped oval nesties, I also cut out two more of these in the smaller size with Stampin' Up only orange card stock. I took a circle die and embossed by hand the ridges to make them look like pumpkins and then hand made my stem and vine. They were sponged with Memento Tangelo and Potter's Clay to give them an aged look. I put the chocolate chip card stock through the Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder. I would love to get something in this bag, how about you! Let me know what you think...
Guess I had better get off this computer, as I am having company for dinner tonight and still don't everything done~~hope you have a great afternoon...see ya soon!

T for Tree
Loving doing the challenges at ABC Christmas Challenge where each two weeks we are given the next letter in the alphabet and criteria to make a project. This time is was the letter T and to use a tree with the option of putting on buttons. I used some of the Just For Fun stamps that I recently won in one of their challenges, love the large and small snowy pines. I stamped these with SU old olive on a card stock base of the same old olive. Then I took the stamp Cat in the Window and using Versafine Onyx Black to stamp the image, I then cut it out, sponging Memento Summer Sky and SU Going Grey to make a winter sky.
My sentiment is from a set by Creative Clear Stamps.
Lovely to have you stop by today!

Christmas at TMITA
Pat is hosting us this week at TMITA and she wanted us to create a Christmas card with snowflakes. I used Nina's image "Snowman with Star", love those snowmen. My base is Stampin' Up Riding Hood Red and their new Christmas dp. I colored the image using SU markers and then punched my snowflakes with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. I adore this image and love this color combo.
I hope that you can stop by the challenge blog and play along with us this week, it's never to early to start your Christmas stash. We hope you will find some inspiration from our design team and leave us a comment telling us what you think. Make your Monday Magical and stop by There's Magic in the Air .
